What? Me panic if I can't post?!? I can handle it. I think. OKAY - I'M GOING THROUGH WITHDRAW ALREADY!!! MAKE IT STOP! MAKE IT STOP!AmBraCol wrote: At some point this place will go static, read only. Don't panic, we'll be going live ASAP on the other server.
I'm just glad you decided not to charge by post count. psst... that was the decision, right?AmBraCol wrote: Thanks to all who pitched in to help us move to roomier quarters.![]()

Well, we transferred everything, including the passwords, etc. The login is due to your browser not recognizing the .org as the same forum as .com was. As for bookmarks, that'd be OK, but we'll be switching the .com over so that it masks the .org this week. In other words, you can keep thinking of http://www.levergunscommunity.com as the official Paco Kelly Leverguns forum. We'll be finishing it all up this week, the Good Lord willing. As mentioned by David Fagan, we may have a slight downtime when the host moves the database to a dedicated database server. By my calculations and what they told me that may very well happen this weekend - give or take a couple days. That should improve the reliability and stability of the forum.Don McDowell wrote:I don't like this new place, I had to enter all my login info. I had to..........

Do we dare mark this up in our favorites or should we wait a bit until things calm down?
Yeah, I told David to wait 'til he saw you connected to pull the plug.Ysabel Kid wrote:Here! Of course, I had the "big one" last night at 12:10am (EST) when the plug was pulled!
Hi David,DavidFagan wrote:ok icons are here now too...
IF there's a problem I'm looking to this post for it...
But I don't know what it could be I didn't get any errors or anything so we should be good.
I see the new provider still has some work to do they might also request a quick downtime as well from Paul.

I didn't see it mentioned but I'm having to log in each time I come to the site and that's even checking the auto log box. Will the final move fix that?
AmBraCol wrote:Well, we're moved. We're still waiting for the hosting company to fix up the SQL database server for us but that should happen in the next day or so from what they told me. That should be fairly fast and we should have minimum down time as a result. Login from the http://www.levergunscommunity.com (note the .COM) URL as soon as you can. That way we'll all be on the same wavelength and topic reply notices should then come from the .com address and thus those who are using the forum logon check box should be able to view the replies with minimal fuss.
If you experience any issues, don't hesitate to let us know. Again, thanks for your patience and thanks to all who've made this move possible.Over the long run I expect it to pay off well in minimal downtime.

This is the old place. But since we never took the wheels off of it we just hooked it up and towed it to a new trailer park. See? Us rednecks may be all out of fashion and not know what's "hip" - but we can "get 'r done".So it's the old place in a new trailer park so to speak. And we went from an old Coleman popup to a doublewide in the process. Thanks to all who made it possible.

Same Doublewide, bigger Lot - with enough room for a Casting Shed, target range and a truck on Blocks. ...
Wait 'til you try out the new "braggin' board" picture posting feature...1894 wrote:So there and here are one now ? Couldn't tell the difference , my old key still fit the lock on the gate![]()
I like the new casting pond and shooting range.
Yes sir, you somehow posted it twice. "Viewed once" or "Not viewed yet" indicates how many times (if any) that the picture has been clicked on for viewing in full size. No sir, it's not yet in the "One Sticky" - I'll remedy that when I get a chance. I've not tried to find a way to link directly to a pic that's been attached somewhere else. Will have to give it a try. If I figure it out I'll try to remember to include the instructions for doing so in the One Sticky.Old Savage wrote:There are a few wrinkles here to learn but you can post directly from the files on your computer without photobucket - and apparently there are two places it will post or did I just inadvertently post twice???
What is viewed one time and not viewed yet - is this all in the one sticky - this will make TERRY happy if we should read the directions.
You can't just move the attachment code to the body of another post. Well you can but it won't work as you can see.
