Load was Magtech 158gr SJSP. Accuracy wasn't as good as the Remington Express SJHPs I had originally sighted in with but I couldn't find any more of those locally right before the season started. Hunters with pistol caliber rifles here in Indiana had pretty much cleaned the stores out.

Welcome to the forum, nice deer and rifle.
"People who object to weapons aren't abolishing violence, they're begging for rule by brute force, when the biggest, strongest animals among men were always automatically 'right.' Guns ended that, and social democracy is a hollow farce without an armed populace to make it work."

That Magtech load shoots well out of my S&W 28-2. I haven't tried it in my Marlin, but will now. :D

Yahoo! Another Indiana PCR deer!

Musta been a fluke. All them boys screaming in Indy just KNEW that we was gonna kill dozens of folks and wound thousands of deer.

Who'd a thunk that folks would actually HUNT with their PCRs?

SteveB,
I'm located about half way between Terre Haute and Indy, so not too close to Seymour. I spent the first four days of firearm season hunting around Patoka Lake and shot a button buck on opening day. My buddy and I also camped out down there in the Hoosier Nat. Forest and packed all our gear in with canoes. I don't have access to my pics right now or I would post a picture of my Buell.

Bogie35,
I would call that a average Hoosier deer probably 3 1/2 or 4 1/2 years, maybe 175lbs field dressed
