He should have been DQ'd for leaving his rifle on the table with the action closed. ;)

Did ya check out "Wild Bird", the elder ladies winner?
How do you think the "Speed Champ" would have faired using her loads?
Sorry CASS boys. I'm disgusted!

This is my main complaint with Sass, it have devolved into a speed shoot with little accuracy skills required. Now if he had fired 10 shots on an 8" plate at 100 yards, THAT would be something, but to RIFLEMAN a leveer gun dry? Other than simple manual dexterity I see little SKILL involved. When I use to set up COWBOY shoots for our M/L club, way before SASS there was ALWAYS at least one target that eveeryone missed. Sometimes we shot at a boot heel poking from behind a rock at 70 yards or a feather in a headdress at 30 yards. We alos docked the shooter if he didn't take cover and we shot pop ups and charging bear.

Competitive shooting always devolves to a speed game. When "Cowboy" shooters start using the smallest calibers and lightest loads they can get away with, it's time to revisit the rules.

Doesn't impress me. Do that with a levergun that has some recoil, then you have to reaquire your target after every shot.
Doing it with something other than a lttle pop gun would impress me more. The skill in those vids is way over rated.
