Anybody got any spare Marlin 39 parts they don't mind parting with?

Depends on what you're looking for? Do you mean a for real 39, or a 39a?

one more thing
the barrel does NOT say micro-groove

Is there a letter at the beginning of the serial number? If so, could you tell us what it is? TIA

If no-one has what you need here, then try these guys. They have everything for early, pre "Golden", 39A's. Your rifle is 1955 and Marlin will not service any rifle older than 1957.

Good luck.

Depending on what internals you need, I do have some parts for the 39a. Some new, and some good used.-Vall
