Ok I know I am new but was wondering if ya'll ever get together? I saw the hunt planed for this year but what about a day of shooting and having a good old visit? I would be glad to supply the place to shoot. I was just wondering if anybody was intrested after deer season of course. Thanks Pack :D

Earlier this year I had some of the guys over for a day of shooting and it was alot of fun. I had planned to have one before gun season this year but haven't had the time. To many things going on at work.

Here's some video from it.

If we can get a date set up I would be up for some shooting.

Great idea! And if you have a place to camp, that makes it more accessible to those who live futher away and need to overnight... plus its fun to camp :)

There is a place to camp but no DRINKING sorry guys. Other than that ya'll figure a date and we'll get it done. I was thinking my place in Jacksboro which is about an 1.5 hrs from DFW . Anytime after deer season when my hunters are done hunting. Might even be able to shoot a hog or two never know.Great videos by the way that looks fun. Ya'll let me know thanks Pack

I am afraid that work and IKE has me snowed under for the next couple of months. I even cancelled a Free-bee deer hunt in October on a managed ranch so I can get the house back in order. I will be in Ft. McKavett, TX during deer season if any of you are hunting in this part of the state. I'd like to meet a few of you. Other than that, Beaumont is my 20 for a spell.

HUMMM...I'd like to, but you're too far away from El Paso and even though gas has come down, at these prices and 9 mpg in my pickup with camper it's just too much.

Thanks for the offer though.

A texas hunt sounds interesting. I was thinking about that this morning that I should take along my 44-40 Henry 1860 to the deer camp this year. It would be fun to just play with.

Sounds good to me.
I can blast off a bunch of .44 excess mag ammo before I sell off my extra .44 guns.
Any trailer hookups there or should I bring a generator?
