my wife called while i was out visiting the hospitals and said there was a snake. i told her to shoot it. the 410 was in nearest reach for her so that was what she used. she shot it and then said it kept moving so i shot it again. it had seven rattlers and a button.

she was so excited. she posted it to all her friends and told them to support the NRA. she doesn't play when her kids are in harms way.

it was an H&R 410. she killed it with the first shot, but shot it a second time to make sure. i think she would have shot it a third time, but she only carried out two shells.

gotta love girls with guns. she loves palin, too!!

You better make her a hat band or a belt with the skin.
My wife hasn't fired a gun since we lived in Idaho 27 years ago but recently she has been eyeing my Taurus 22 levergun, better get her to the range before she looses interest. :D

Nice! I would have had it looking like hamburger by the time you got home; don't care much for them.

wow - what type of snake was that and what part of the country are you in? It sort of looks like a Timber Rattler like we sometimes see in the mountains of Pennsylvania, but I do not recall every seeing one that large.

I'm with Ji on this one.
That would make an excellent hatband (since she didn't leave enough for a belt :D )
