Rossi '92 Ejector problems???
I have noticed when I load my .357 Rossi singly by hand the ejector only works about 10% of the time.I also noted that if I load from the magazine the ejector works OK,is this normal? Is there a way to get the ejector to work loading while loading each round by hand?

Re: Rossi '92 Ejector problems???
Sorry for not being clear ! The round is pulled from the chamber but it stays in the gun and is not ejected. If I load the rounds through the loading gate and they feed normally I get extraction and ejection . I have not ordered Steves CD but that is on my schedule.
Thank you
Thank you

It sounds like the ejector is hanging slightly in the bolt. Rounds from the mag tube eject ok because there is usually another live round ubder the spent case to help push it out. The next posibility is someone has cut too many coils off the ejector spring trying to improve the action but now it doesn't work as well as it should. Because the gun is stored with the action closed, if that spring is cut and then takes a bit of a set it will do just like you discribed.
I have the proper length ejector spring made from lighter wire. But you will need the DVD as well because my spring may not work if you don't do what needs to be done to assure the parts will work with the lighter spring. The DVD covers the fitting and proving the fit of the parts outside the gun.

Thank you ! I bought this gun new but I would not doubt the dealer I bought it from had already done some internal work! I ordered the CD,spring and magazine follower yesterday.
