Rossi 92 45 Colt at local shop

Post by TedH »

Stopped by the local candy store today to see what's new. They have a pre-safety Rossi 92 45 Colt. Looked to be in near new condition, no scratches or blue wear to speak of. Has the real dark finish on the wood. Price was $385. I possibly may have been interested, but the wife had an "incident" a couple days ago with a bright yellow concrete pole in the grocery store parking lot that is going to cost me at least a couple levergun purchases to fix. Will provide contact info if anyone's interested.

Howdy, Ted!

Sorry to hear about the meeting with the pole! :(

Is the Rossi a carbine? Can you pass on the info for the shop? I'm in the bootheel, so don't know how far away you may be...

Thanks,
Slinger

(what who's always interested in Model '92 carbines in .45 COLT!!!)

No thank you - I've met enough bright yellow concrete poles to last me the rest of my life !

Jeepers creepers man, why must you tempt me? I just got over my cravings for Blackhawks(by buying one) and now this, in the same caliber no less, turns up.

:x Must resist, must resist!! :x

Go for it, Andrew!!! If you don't already have a 92 to go with that Blackhawk, you don't know what you're missing! I already have a couple, just always looking to add to the stable. My Rossi (old Interarms, pre-safety) is the most accurate lever I own, and the one I use when trying to make that "impossible" shot at the range.
