I pick 'em up ... look at them ... sigh and put them back. But I am getting there. Patience Jim. Patience.

I am not doing anything outside the doctor's guidelines.
She did a great job on the surgery and I am very happy with her.

Sounds good. At the same time, you need to keep moving. Muscles and tendons can rebuild if used. Discomfort is not a great idea, and causing pain is a terrible idea. Soreness is not pain.

What is amazing is, the only pain I have is my left knee. Not from the accident. From 45 years ago when I got bucked off a horse I was breaking to ride. I stopped taking pain meds quite awhile ago.

I am doing the exercises the physical therapist has got me going on. I had some soreness for a bit from using muscles that I had not used much, but not so much now. I walk a /2 mile or more every couple days. If my knee is up to it I do a mile. At this point I am not allowed to do much more. I feel pretty good and am sleeping well for an old guy.
