Is that for real? Not in the market for one but I'd like to see how they made it work with the rim.
Re: Not your daddy's "thutty-thutty"
Not sure. Rim-lock seems to be a potential issue.

That's kind of interesting, probably not something I would want, but if it proved reliable and you were into the AR-15 platform, then I guess it has merit. I just gave a 7.62 x 39 AR to my son for his birthday, because I just never used it, but ballistically, they are pretty close.

I like the balistics, but why? The .300 HAMR improved them and is not a rimmed cartridge.

Much the same could be said for the 45-70.
I wish it were as true for the 32-20, 218 Bee, 25-35, 44-40, and 38-40...

I'd much rather see an AR done in .30-30 than see a traditional lever action .30-30 done up butt an assault rifle.

I'm not surprised, but... somewhat shocked. Holds no appeal to me... in fact, so little that I don't see how it could for anyone.

Oh I know they exist, and from more than one seller too. Just think I'd rather see this AR done in .30-30 than any classic turned into an abortion. Those I have seen are burned into my memory, and I wont soon forget any of those ugly things.nwcatman wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2026 3:35 pmI think you're too late. seen some the PK marlin site, FB etc. saw at leasr one JM put into a plastic stock with all the fixings. makes you wanna get your hands on whoever did it.marlinman93 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2026 12:56 pm I'd much rather see an AR done in .30-30 than see a traditional lever action .30-30 done up butt an assault rifle.
