Anyone who even supports 'common sense' things like BACKGROUND CHECKS needs reminded that background checks are ALWAYS used as an excuse to create a REGISTRY, and once a registry is created it CANNOT BE UNDONE, and eventually WILL be used for confiscation, because studies consistently show that NONE of those things reduce violent crime, so the 'excuse' is always we need MORE regulation (instead of actually putting violent criminals in jail and keeping them there
). These anti-gun people should put themselves in the place of a woman like Suzanna, or that innocent young woman just trying to make ends meet by working at a convenience store (where no doubt company policy prohibits CCW on-the-job).
Or put themselves in the place of people in nations who have gone down this path, like the USSR or NAZI Germany or Rwanda. If someone likes 'gun control' it is clear you are either incredibly uninformed, mentally retarded, or actually think violence is an acceptable means of engineering social change.
