You may have noticed that commercial bullet casting companies show "out of stock" on nearly all of their products. I think people are nervous about future availability and they're stocking up on bullets and molds.

Check out www.arsenalmolds.com. I've ordered several molds from them and have cast thousands of bullets with them with no issues.

I'm a big fan of Accurate Molds. Molds custom made, with quick delivery in Aluminium, Brass or Steel. My last one was a .32-170D 3 gang steel mold. Casts perfect bullets, I'm more than satisfied. IMO, 10Xs the quality of any Lee mold I have.

FULL DISCLOSURE.........i have several Lyman and Accurate and a Lee and a NOE i am going to be offering for sale soon, and am trying to determine a fair asking price but the Lymans are ALL N o Back Order it seems. so the old prices on midway show basically on sale for $100 but they don't have em and won't BO. Lyman site says basically forget about it. Grrr....

nwcatman,
you might want to see what the auction sites have listed for Lyman/RCBS/Saeco moulds and price yours accordingly, ( with a good guy discount for forum members ;) )

Lyman is a mystery, kind of like Speer with bullets. Do they want to play or not? I can't figure out the business plan.

Oftentimes they show out of stock, but if you backorder the mould shows up pretty quickly, almost like they're waiting for the order to cut the mould.

Say what you will about 'FleaBay' but I have been getting some great molds at reasonable prices there. Some hard-to-get discontinued models, unavailable anywhere else. I've been casting since the early 1960s and remember that trying to find Lyman molds even back then was an exercise in frustration. A few of the common pistol molds in .38 and .44 could be found, but most of the rifle calibers were hard to find. I think Lyman did small batches/runs of certain molds, then retired the 'cherrys' for several years until they did another run. If you didn't get one you wanted right off you were out of luck!
