Like many, I worked on December 31st. We were open a half day, and did a typical full day's business. Seems as if a bunch of people were glad we were open. I am a Pharmacist, and most insurance changes on January First.
I felt as if we accomplished a lot by helping people use benefits before things changed and copays went up.
I also appreciated that my employer was willing to give us some time off for family.
Worked December 31st.
