I've seen a few black tailed whitetail.
Years ago we had some deer that had a white stripe on the backs of their ears. We never saw them on my buddy's farm until after dark along the roads.
The farm im hunting now I've noticed a couple does that have very distinct eyebrows, the coloration is much lighter than the rest of the hair. Maybe I never noticed that on other deer but these stand out.

Looks like that buck damaged his pedicle.
I shot one years ago that must have had a botfly in his rack as the antler grew with a hole and a deformed its growth.
