My first thought about that cartoon was " Stay off the plane." :D

I used to love to travel by plane, but not so much anymore. Made the mistake of letting
my Ex make the plans for the last trip we had together. She booked a flight on Spirit. Miserable airline. Then we were split up on the seating.
When we landed the large woman sitting next to me had fallen asleep. The flight attendant was waking up sleeping passengers and stopped to ask me
" I she yours?". I said " are you kidding?" with not so pleasant look on my face and loud enough to wake the beast next to me. The attendant was not pleased.

Dad would have loved to have had those for more than just kids!
I still laugh about a hijacker that tried to make Dad go to Cuba. He had just made Captain, his 1st officer and the engineer were both ex military and proceeded to beat the little weasel into submission on the way to San Juan.

I flew my nephews from WV to Ohio in a Cessna 172. They were a bit loud when we started North, so I took them to 10,000 feet, and they went right to sleep for the rest of the ride.

Those things are pressurized. At 10,000 were they turning blue?

Or Vanna White!

Must be why I'm glad when my Mom brought me to the US we came via ship. I was two when we crossed the Equator on Christmas Day in 1952. Got my Shellback initiation done early!

10,000 is fine- just a little less O² but perfectly safe.
