This is a really interesting and unusual rifle that Remington made for just a few years starting in 1899. In addition to the classic Lee magazine, Remington machined in FOUR locking lugs on this action. With its 101,XXX serial number, this one was purchased by the Michigan National Guard and later nicely sportered, possibly before WW II. It is in nice shape, lots of blue, stock with a few light handling marks, bore good-very good with some very fine frost, no pits. I shot it just a few times and it is accurate, but I can't see those fine iron sights anymore, especially at our county range that faces into the morning sun. I am asking what I have in it, including RCBS dies and 50 pieces of Hornady brass plus shipping, so a total of $750 to your dealer or C&R license. You'll be the only guy in hunting camp with a Remington Lee 1899. See Ian McCollum's Forgotten Weapons Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GdQdJoyxSk
