WTB in MO.....a long shot

Post by TedH »

As an avid 375 Winchester shooter and collector for many years, I have put together a collection of all the brands of rifles factory chambered in 375 Winchester, plus a couple customs, except for one. I have been searching for several years for a Valmet 412 O/U double rifle. This is by far the most rare of all production 375's, and I have not been able to locate one in years of watching the various sites online. I would even take just a set of barrels if found, and match them to a 412 bought separately.
If you run across this hens tooth I would be most grateful for a heads up!

Wow - never heard of such a thing. Sounds like an interesting gun for sure.

What doc said. Just taking a quick peek, I see one in 12 X 6X52 on Gunsinternational and 16 X .25-35 on Gunbroker. Had no idea.

I've only ever seen one for sale and missed it by a couple of hours.
