Many years ago, I lived near that base in a house on the beach, and played live music at venues in Corpus Christi and up to Port Aransas. The MPs there no NOT mess around, and were all good folks in my experience. Kudos to this fine Officer!

That MP needs to be given an award. She did her job AFTER being shot. She could have stayed down, or hidden. She did neither. How many lives were saved because she went above and beyond is now only a matter of speculation.
