the Dunning Kruger effect

#1 Post by AJMD429 » Wed Nov 20, 2019 8:56 pm

aka "Stupid People who think they are smart" (or at least enjoy listening to themselves)...

Joe Rogan is one of the best examples; like so many pseudo-intellectuals, he actually thinks we need to "have a conversation about the Constitution," as if a bunch of spoiled boomers or millennials somehow are anointed with such prophetic political vision that they should sit around over wine and cheese and pontificate about completely overhauling the Constitution, or our economic system, or whatever. He pretends to be 'objective' and feigns an 'intellectual' approach, but his understanding of the Second Amendment and of firearms and the law is incredibly poor, which leads his 'defense' of the Second Amendment to be incredibly lame. He may as well be an anti-gun advocate, though he portrays himself otherwise...

Thomas Sowell was right when he wrote "Vision of the Anointed".
Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws
"first do no harm" - gun control LAWS lead to far more deaths than 'easy access' ever could.

Want REAL change? . . . . . "Boortz/Nugent in 2012 . . . ! "

I couldn't keep watching. Joe Rogan comes across as one who has to believe he is the smartest man in the room. He is unpleasant and impossible to listen to.

the simple result of a God-less world view, in which the "self-annointed" identify as the god of this world.
whose name is satan . . . .
they are witless in their "wisdom"
