Page 4, lower third on the right hand side.

Thought it cut right to argument about 'weapons of war' in civilians hands.

In today's political climate, JFK would be a 'right wing extremist'....too bad so many who were then relatively decent Democrats have stuck with the party as it morphed 180 degrees into one that believes in oppressing the working class...

JFK seems to have had some sense at least, even for a spoiled bootlegging beneficiary.

But there were also stupid anti-gun sphincter types even back then....note the irony of the three-named senator's committee position....

Senator John F. Kennedy Comm.: Foreign Relations; Labor & Public Welfare; Joint Economic Comm. Massachusetts By CALLING ATTENTION to "a well regulated militia, "the" security" of the nation, and the right of each citizen "to keep and bear arms," our founding fathers recognized the essentially civilian nature of our economy. Although it is extremely unlikely that the fears of governmental tyranny which. gave rise to the Second Amendment will ever be a major danger to our nation, the Amendment still remains an important declaration of our basic civilian-military relationships, in which every citizen must be ready to participate in the defense of his country. For that reason I believe the Second Amendment will always be important.
President Kennedy must be spinning in his grave now. What he didn't think would happen has happened.

Yep. I'm sure he's not alone. If the Dem-Green weasels could tap the spinning motion of all the past Dem's going warp-speed in their graves, they could really solve the so-called "climate crisis"...

JFK was a product of his time and his upbringing. He probably was a better person than most politicians of today. That is even taking into account his sexual escapades. Many politicians of today are as bad or worse than he was in that department, just not as good looking or as successful with getting a beautiful actress into bed. Joe Barton was a Conservative Republican Congressman who quit when his sexting issues came to light.

I am inclined to think that I would vote for someone like JFK if he were running now.
