The original premise of this government was that it was created by citizens, to serve citizens, and to be subject to the ultimate control of citizens, NOT the other way around. It was the first known government in the history of civilization to be so structured.

'Arms' are the most fundamental of the rights in the Bill of Rights, and all the hyperbole about "well, citizens aren't allowed to own nukes" aside, there is NO authority of the government to regulate/register/restrict or otherwise 'infringe' on the right to keep AND bear 'arms', and handguns and shoulder-fired firearms 'in common use' by police and military are such items.

The police are granted limited rights to have certain kinds of firearms, certain kinds of ammunition, and carry and use them only as the citizens allow. THEY are the ones who need to ask for 'permission' to have firearms; NOT the other way around....
Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws
"first do no harm" - gun control LAWS lead to far more deaths than 'easy access' ever could.

Want REAL change? . . . . . "Boortz/Nugent in 2012 . . . ! "
