She is well informed. It is probably a safe bet that she can shoot well.

When they spreadsheet the numbers in the more recent mass murders involving firearms, using data from audio and video recordings and survivors accounts they come up with an average of 46 seconds between victims. Much slower and lower capacity repeating arms and even single shot breechloaders could have been used with the same evil results.

46 seconds between victims is slow. Even 4 to 6 seconds between victims is still easily done with a single shot break action firearm. It isn't the firearm. It is the shooter. Not to be stupid, but a man in decent physical condition and with intent could use a large sharp knife to murder quite a few victims in a short time. More victims killed if they do not or cannot fight back. Knife murders are more common than the slimestream news would want you to believe. When a man with a knife and intent gets 15 feet or less from you, you may not be able to escape being injured. That has been shown to be true quite often. It is not the item being used but the one using the item.

Re-read Piller's comment about a man with a knife. When I went through the law enforcement academy one of the most EYE OPENING segments of our training involved the encounter with a man in a crouched position, back towards the officer that we didn't know was holding a knife.
First time through...NO body survived.
