It's not "penetration", it's infiltration. Cultural espionage.

They are infiltrating those activities traditionally thought of as the safe-havens of 'conservative' ideology for the specific purpose of corrupting them and injecting political correctness into those arenas of thought and activity.

Once the political correctness virus takes hold, pussification is a guaranteed result.

They usually attack 'our' institutions at the administrative level, focusing on business owners or others with less actual interest in the subject, and more interest in simply making money off of it. It separates the true-believer owners from the money-grubbers fairly quickly. People like Randy Barrett don't seem to cave in to politically-correct garbage.
