Prayers for El Paso

#1 Post by Bill in Oregon » Sat Aug 03, 2019 5:56 pm

Praying for the souls of the dead, the injured and all the loved ones visited with this evil today.
Also hoping that the response is not to the tool but to the loser who chose to use it in this evil manner.

Been out all day. Just got back.  Unbelieveable. I have a hard time believing that these shootings of late are not planned by the opposition to Trump's reelection.

it is not a stretch to think that the one who is financing the invasion is also financing the killing

Prayers up for the victims....and for the rest of us who have to be courageous enogh to stop the stampede of useless and indeed dangerous 'gun control' laws that not only fail to prevent mass shootings, but facilitate them.

Although laws that punish murder with life in prison or execution failed (twenty times) in El Paso, it's pretty obvious that if our heroes and saviors in the legislature pass a law preventing purchase of certain types of firearms, or requiring their registration, that will work, right...? Yeah, makes perfect sense...to an idiot....

Instead of the governor saying how much the state offers its "support and prayers", and thanking law enforcement for "getting there rapidly" (after only six minutes of shooting), he should have posed the question "Why didn't somebody in Walmart shoot the son of a pitch before the cops got there....?" :?:

Hitting with 46 shots in 6 minutes is just about one shot every eight seconds....easy enough for a bolt action rifle even if it had no magazine. If the guy had a more powerful (non-military) firearm nearly ALL hits would have been lethal.

He should be asking why our culture has become so holplophobic that a store full of customers (Wal Mart no less....!!!) didn't have someone willing and able to protect life. I think we all know the answer.....Government is the new God. Democrats don't believe in any 'higher power' except money, and too many Republicans are willing to cede the moral authority of the Church to enforce God's commandments on their members when it comes to booze, sex, and drugs, to Government enforcing man's law on everyone regardless. Forced 'morality' is not moral at all....

People wonder why nobody has any faith in the judicial system. It's pretty obvious, when you listen to the speculation now as to whether it was a "hate crime" or not. How ridiculous...! He was caught in the act, and admits doing it, so there is zero reason a jury shouldn't be convened by tomorrow at noon, and the trial be over within an hour. Assuming he is found guilty, he should be hanged by sundown or put in shackles and auctioned off to the next of kin for their disposal.
Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws
"first do no harm" - gun control LAWS lead to far more deaths than 'easy access' ever could.

In the USA you won't see anything (much) about Dayton. The murderer was a Democrat and supported Sanders and Warren....
Now, the murderer in El Paso didn't support Trump, but that doesn't matter to the Progressives. They've been labeling Trump as a supporter of racism and White nationalism for months and months....So much so, I have to wonder if this was their October Surprise.
