Great Mises article on "Wealth Inequality"

It is too bad that material like this isn't allowed in the Public Schools, but at least WE can read it, and WE can spread printed copies around where people might encounter them (waiting rooms, doctor and dentist offices, neatly folded up and slipped inside liberal 'economics' books in the library, etc.), and WE can send the links to friends and relatives...

So what this is saying is that a free market, capitalist system WORKS!!!!

Who would have thought such a thing!!

Waiting for the wife to retire next year so our income drops and we don't pay as much in taxes.

Wealth is NOT a Zero-Sum game. No matter how many millions of times you slice the pie, every slice has the potential of being worth a perfectly decent lifestyle, and retirement.

Liberals* focus more on making sure their neighbor doesn't have more money than they do, instead of just focusing on what they have themselves. In other words, their happiness depends not on simply 'having enough luxury', but requires that nobody has more luxury than they do.

* REAL 'liberals' are not at all the 'liberals' of days past - those 'classical liberals' are more 'libertarian' or even 'conservative' by today's political standards. Likewise, real 'progressives' are not 'progressive' in the sense of wanting progress - they tend to want us to reverse the free-market, egalitarian societies we have developed in the West, and go back to socialist or even modern iterations of feudalist economies and social structures. The 'left' has mastered the manipulation of language and political euphemism.
