Easy way to be 'politically active'....

#1 Post by AJMD429 » Wed Jun 12, 2019 2:46 pm

I got this today:

This is your quarterly AmazonSmile donation notification. Your charity, Gun Owners Foundation, recently received a quarterly donation of $10,760.34 thanks to customers shopping at smile.amazon.com.

To date, AmazonSmile has donated a total of:
$94,461.18 to Gun Owners Foundation
$134,890,393.33 to all charities
Thank you for supporting Gun Owners Foundation by shopping at smile.amazon.com. You can track your impact throughout the year at your My Impact page.

So.......if you guys buy anything on Amazon.com, activate the 'smile' feature by going through smile.amazon.com, and offset the anti-gun, anti-conservative slant the best you can....!

That's impressive! Looks like Amazon isn't afraid to support every charity. I'll have to look into the smile bit.

Amazon are always asking if I wish to donate to a charity, I'll type in Gun Owners Foundation next time and see what happens.

I've been supporting the 2nd Amendment Foundation thru Amazon Smile myself for about 8 months now. It kind of makes you feel good.

Doc - I'm shamelessly posting your message/point on several others forums I attend.

Thanks for posting this. :)

Thanks Doc.
I'd never heard of the "Gun Owners Foundation" and wanted to ensure that it's not a good sounding name pasted on an anti-firearm group so I did a quick search:
https://www.gunowners.com/
The website looks OK.

So do you just put in “gun owners foundation” or is there more to it?
