That said, I wouldn't want him anywhere near my daughter.

I wouldn't want Bill Clinton near any female, nor would I want Barack Obama near any young male.

I would be more willing to let Donald Trump near a woman. There haven't been dozens of women come out and claim he raped them. Nor dozens of young men saying they had sex with Trump.

I doubt Trump ever did anything to or with a woman she wasn't happy to have been the recipient of. Big difference from Clinton for sure.

I just pray that some day we have a president truly worthy of respect and admiration. It's been a while -- at least since Bush the elder.

He's doing the job he was elected for. He's the only POTUS in my memory that has been keeping his campaign promises...except of course the ones You People and your Obama-appointed judges are not blocking. It's about time a smart businessman and Capitalist is running this country.
Bush the Elder?? Read my lips, no new taxes...that was right before his kissed the butts of the Socialists, nee crats, and gave us a buttload of new taxes.

Well said Blaine......let's not forget he is starting to make other nations pay their way their own military care who can well afford to.....doing away with NAFTA......undoing the Iran deal.....

As far as I'm concerned, Bush Sr. sold us out to promote the elites NWO.....

Trump has shed a lot of light to the citizens of this country of what's going on.....

From what I've read a lot of people said Teddy Roosevelt was whacky too.----6

Well, I guess we have different ideas about what makes a man honorable. Let's leave it at that.
Blaine, thank you and others who have served on this special weekend.

Yep. Like Obama (maybe), and for sure like Clinton, Bush was a 'nice guy', but loved government power. At least I think both Bushes actually liked the U.S.A., unlike Obama. I think Clinton superficially liked this nation, but clearly was willing to sell to the highest bidder via his 'foundation'.

Trump may not be the girl you'd want your daughter to date, but in a Teddy Roosevelt sort of way, I think he is just the character we NEED right now.

Seriously.....can you think of ANY individual who could have endured what he endured so far...? (and the 'Spygate' script was prepared for whoever got elected as a Republican)

All the Dumbascraps would have been horrible, and NONE of the Romney-esque RINOs would have lasted more than a few weeks.

You made quite the statement about suitability. Get out in front of it. You have Obama, Clinton, Carter, ad nausium, to present to us as wonderful presidents. Sing their praises, and be sure to include Barry's world-wide "Apology Tour" for America. Or, maybe, Moochie's "I've never been proud of my country" bloviation".
BTW, this weekend has nothing to do with me or any living veteran. It's for memory of those vets that died in the service of our country.

Yep. Many sacrificed much, but some sacrificed everything.... :(

I pray to God every day that we come to appreciate and deserve such sacrifice, and I fear that the libtards do not.

The Bush family supported Hillary for president. I lost the tiny amount of respect for them that I had at that point. Hillary sold a Uranium mine to the Russians which had once belonged to a family I know, and there are surviving heirs to whom the mine was by Federal law to be returned to when the Government no longer need it. In other words, she stole it and sold it for her own profit in knowing violation of U.S. law.

Does anyone remember how proud Jimmy Carter was of his son Chip?

Carter had to pardon all the draft dodgers so that his own son could come back to the U.S.

I have nothing good to say about Obama, Clinton or Carter. I have no idea where that came from.
The best candidate for president who was NOT elected in my lifetime was Barry Goldwater.

I always wondered what it would have been like if he had won. He seemed to be a decent guy, but even back then there was a 'deep state' not wanting the likes of him to be elected. :|

The country is at a tipping point. The current coup would have been leveled at any Republican conservative that might have been elected. I don't expect any conservative to like Trump, but I expect them to be behind him. Unless, of course, you like the present direction of the Socialist (formerly 'Crat) party. Unless, of course, you love having millions of illegal migrants in the USA voting for socialism, and sucking up our treasure. Unless, of course, you'd like to see the Bill of Rights neutered with the 1st and 2nd amendments thrown out. If you ain't with us, then you're against us. Turn in your guns and enjoy that stealth New Green Deal New Mex. just approved.

We almost had John McCain. Just as honorable, or as dishonorable, as George H. Bush. I am still convinced that the CIA was involved with the death of JFK. GHB sure got rich while the CIA was running drugs into the U.S. out of Vietnam. I believe that Vikdun Quisling was more honorable than GHB, but only by an iota.
