Another 'tough gun laws' failure

#1 Post by AJMD429 » Sun Apr 28, 2019 8:23 pm ... -shooting/

According to Breitbart, California not only has a ban on so-called 'assault weapons', they also have "universal background checks, firearm registration requirements, and firearm confiscation orders, via Red Flag Laws. The state requires would-be gun owners to first obtain gun safety certification from the state and then requires a 10-day waiting period for all gun purchases. They also have a one-handgun-a-month purchase limit and a minimum age of 21 for all gun purchases, whether long guns or handguns. Campus carry is banned, K-12 teachers are barred from being armed in school for self-defense, and concealed carry permit issuance is ['may-issue',] constrained by a "good cause” requirement."

But then we live in a Brave New World where words mean the opposite of what they say.

The media already portrayed the killer as someone "...fueled by the hatred and anti-Semitism of Donald Trump..."

But the solidly-Democrat low-information voters - college kids whose only 'political interest' is free tuition and birth control pills; welfare-mooches (including the baby-popping 'single moms', movie-stars, the big-corporate gamers of the tax-code, as well as the folks running 'not-for-profit' businesses that mooch for tax dollars), and hipsters who can name every Grateful Dead tune but wouldn't know a fascist from a libertarian if they tripped over one - have already "learned from the news" that "we need more gun laws".....

I ALSO found it interesting that the mainstream news media emphasizes that it was a law enforcement official that took a gun and went after the guy, does NOT mention that the gun was being carried into the church by a regular parishioner, who handed it to the law enforcement officer.

But then it is more important to have three cops tied up harassing and confiscating firearms from guys like this than it is to allow people to get carry permits or put REAL criminals in jail and keep them there -
Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws
"first do no harm" - gun control LAWS lead to far more deaths than 'easy access' ever could.

Want REAL change? . . . . . "Boortz/Nugent in 2012 . . . ! "
