England hit with another shooting ban.

#1 Post by gamekeeper » Thu Apr 25, 2019 4:36 am

As from today 25th April it will be illegal to shoot 16 species of pest birds eg Crows, Pigeons etc.
Some so-called nature lover and TV presenter has challenged the general license that allows us to shoot birds that cause damage or threats to health. The government agency responsible for this general license has waved a white flag and given all farmers, gamekeepers and hunters 36 hours notice of the ban....
It's no wonder we can't even escape from the EU with such a pityful government. We seriously need someone like Donald Trump .

Just heard from the National Gamekeepers Organisation that Natural England will grant temporary individual licenses which can be applied for after 5 pm today.
How long this farce will take to resolve is anybody's guess.
Meanwhile Crows and Magpies will decimate song birds and game birds nests during the breeding season.
This is what happens when you let nanny state do gooders have power, common sense is no longer required in anything political.....

Been doing that for years, I don't believe in killing anything that doesn't need killing but if it does I'll kill it regardless....
