Of course Swalwell will be portrayed as 'moderate'....

Interesting that even when he is reminded that handguns are used in FAR more murders than 'assault weapons', he still says we citizens (aka 'subjects') would be 'allowed' to keep our handguns (for now), but he just wants the 'more dangerous' guns off the streets....

...I'm thinking that since 'assault weapons' aren't 'more dangerous' to ordinary citizens, perhaps the politicians who aspire to tyrannical things are the ones who view them as 'dangerous' to them. :?: That should make any peace-loving, law-abiding citizen want to vote for ANYONE but such politicians...
Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws
"first do no harm" - gun control LAWS lead to far more deaths than 'easy access' ever could.

Want REAL change? . . . . . "Boortz/Nugent in 2012 . . . ! "

This guy is advocating putting gun-owners in jail for exercising their rights.

He has every reason to be in fear for his life.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

Mr. Swalwell might do well to remember that there are a LOT of us out here who took an OATH that included the following:
": "I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same..."
NOWHERE in that oath was there an "expiration date".
