....and WOW....if Stacey Abrams is the best 'rebuttal' they can come up with, that's pretty sad.....her speech was lack-lustre, boring, predictable, and even the 'audience' as you see at the end of the speech, was lame. Just....WOW....

Her speech also seemed to be pre-written in part. If she were swinging a bat at President Trump's pitches, she would have had a couple of foul tips and ended up fouling out.

It reminded me of the many, many times when I've had to censor my own words when discussing political concepts and there is a 'progressssssive' in the room; they just can't handle facts and reality, and either get all butt-hurt, or start yelling, calling names, and breaking things, if you confront their irrational claims and fuzzy feelings with reality. Sometimes they start spouting their 'alternative facts' from the latest authoritative HuffPo article, as if HuffPo can print that "gravity is just a theory" or "71,428 children are killed every day in Chicago by assault weapons" and it is somehow true, and any other claims in the scientific or criminologic literature are just lies. They live in their own insulated world, which explains why they are surprised so many of their fellow citizens chose Trump over Clinton, or roll their eyes at AOC.

I guess it is just the usual stuff that fuels socialism -materialism, greed, arrogance, envy, prejudice, hate, ignorance, violence, and dishonesty - that drives them to what we have had to label "Trump Derangement Syndrome" because it is so bizarre.

Yet they project that on the rest of us, just like they call capitalists 'greedy', or when they say anyone who opposed Obama's ridiculous policies was 'raaaaacist'.

I guess it is just basically whether you think FACTS, or FEELINGS, should shape public policy. The libs have to have their TDS-induced rage to drive their irrational policies, so they assume that the only reason anyone would favor 'conservative' policies is that they similarly hate and rage against Obama, which of course means they are 'racist'. It doesn't dawn upon them that we might actually be analyzing public policy on its actual merits, vs just 'virtue signaling' like they do.

Of course these are the people who so obviously colluded with Russians to throw the election, yet have the gall to accuse Trump of doing that (and of course the 'mainstream' "news" media laps it all up and gives it legitimacy).

In that picture, Sanders does appear as if he is trying to choose whether to cry, scream, break things...easily broken things so that he doesn't hurt himself, or all three at the same time.
