Alexandria ocasio cortez ,a left socialist from NY., tells Howard Schultz of STARBUX fame, to start with a city council position first, something, she herself did not do. I mean really, what does a CEO of a multibillion dollar company know about balanced budgets, and proper appropriation of funds, deadlines, making payroll, making deals, creating actual profits and telling the truth to shareholder citizens. When all we really need is a Bartender with a half empty tip jar.

Hopefully she'll be kind of like Hillary, and make it SO obvious that 'progressive' Democrats and their socialist fantasies are so ridiculous that even 'moderate' Democrats (i.e. folks who are politically and economically clueless but have a negative gut-reaction to Republicans as awful) will start to see that socialism is ridiculous.
It is amazing how many otherwise 'intelligent' (straight-A students and so on) people somehow think socialism is a good thing to try. Just because in every other nation where it has been tried for the past several hundred years as a replacement for feudalism, it led to poverty, huge 'income inequality', despair, cultural stagnation, and ultimately extreme loss of life. According to R.J. Rummel (professor at Univ Hawaii), genocide has caused an average of 4-5,000 innocent deaths per day for the past hundred or so years, and genocide only happens when you have a disarmed citizenry (no 'easy access' and no 'military-style weapons' and complete 'background checks' - aka 'registration'), and THAT only happens when you have a socialist government that is failing to control crime, and allowing the wealthy to loot the middle class. Capitalism avoids those things.

What keeps me up at night is not that this is possibly the dumbest person to hold public office, or her political leanings.......
