What's the tactical/political/social lesson here...?

1. CCW licensees are potential criminals, and we should issue fewer or no CCW's...?
2. 'Gun-free' zones are slaughterhouses, and we should not allow them...?
3. Hospital employees should sue the stuff out of hospitals who REQUIRE them to be defenseless...?
4. We need more cops and security guards so the killers run out of ammo by killing cops first...?

I'm so glad I don't work for a hospital....!

.

People assume that women are flighty and overly emotional, but tie a man up with a woman and it's like he absorbs and then amplifies that nonsense. IMO, Any man who says he's in love to the point of acting like a school girl should be disarmed.

Jealousy and frustration are a dangerous combination and can lead an immature person to disregard the dictates of conscience and consequence.

It's an old lesson, and a known one...

Emotionally unstable and potentially violent humans should probably be denied arms or disarmed and confined until they gain their senses.

I don't have all the answers, but the problem I see is that too many people are forcibly disarmed by employers. A friend was employed at an independent Pharmacy at one time and he was allowed to carry his concealed firearm. He stopped 2 different robberies, and detained the suspects on one occasion for the Police. The other occasion the suspects fled. No employees were harmed either time.

Who decides which individuals might be "emotionally unstable and potentially violent" ? I am sure the left would like see to it that we were all on the list, given our pro second amendment mentality. Are you willing to let people who will not acknowledge that abortion is murder make decisions on who is mentally stable? ………… I'm just sayin...….

On the other hand, we could just track down those who have any bone to pick with anyone, arm them up, give them a little kiss on the forehead and say "Go get 'em, Tiger."

I'm OK with that.

   I think you're talking about Da Ghetto. Personally, with the predilection those thugs have for shooting each other, I'd recommend giving them free ammo as a public service.

I do work for a hospital.

Carrying my sidearm in OR scrubs sucks. (Belts? For Scrubs? Not even a Gait Belt is useful, and Compression Ts and Holsters are still too noticeable... especially when transferring Patients from Table to Gurney...)

But there are plenty of really inconspicuous ways to put a "gun in a book" in my locker or office... and then there is my short sword... err... amputation knife in the OR's "safe room" (Sterile Instrument Storage)...

So...
