Territories become states because there's something in it for them. They get protection. They get funding or debt forgiveness. They get social services.

More states would only benefit the Communists, because the potential 'victim' mindset population would increase by 99% of whatever the population of the candidate territory might be.

yea my idea exactly, i think once people start abusing this law for revenge or enough people get shot over confiscation, it might get amended or rid of, like prohibition in the 1920's.

Maybe I misunderstood (go figger :oops: ). I saw that article as dividing up current states into rural and socialist enclaves. If that's the case, WE would gain representation in the House, they would lose House representation, and we would gain two senate seats and they would have the same two.
