This is an excellent video and refresher about why we have our form of federal government. Very timely as we prepare to celebrate Independence Day. I highly recommend everybody watch this. Please note this video is not really violent or graphic at all in spite of the warning otherwise (unless your a left winger and do not like the truth being told).

It's a very excellent film...video?...
My only (personal) hope for the future is that the 'Crats continue to try and recruit the extreme left flank of the socialist trends. It's my belief that mainstream, normal-valued Democrats will flee in horror if they would actually think (if that's possible  ) about what their party is doing.
Just a reminder, the CPUSA's first meeting, ca 1917, decided to put in place a 100 year plan to incrementally introduce socialism until they had a voting majority. Obama and Hillary were the end game. No wonder they are violently opposed to the current POTUS.

Just more evidence that our Founding Fathers were way smarter than the average bear. So far, we have the longest running Constitution, and the longest running Republic that this planet has seen. We need to educate the young ones about it if this Republic is to continue. I have some hope, and that movement where people who can think for themselves are leaving the DemocratICK Party is feeding that hope. Sadly, my hope is sort of emaciated.

The Republic of Venice lasted for over 1000 years.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

However, their average citizen had no vote. The wealthy few ruled, made all the laws, and elected the Doge.

No difference. The people here are just gullible enough to believe they have it better.
