UK airguns

#1 Post by gamekeeper » Wed Dec 13, 2017 2:52 pm

I have just sent an email to the government, apparently they are thinking it's about time they licensed airguns and want the opinions of interested parties.
I know you guys are always under attack from anti gun nut jobs but our nut jobs are even more nutty....

I understand your angst. Quite a few of our liberal states are either heading in that direction or already there.
Good luck.

GK in the not to recent past Texas has legalized open carry, switchblades, double edged knives, bowie knives, knives over 5.5 " blades, spears and swords. You can't carry over 5.5" at bars, schools, football games. We are moving in the right direction here. Never to late to migrate 8)

When Texas changed the laws about knives, my son asked for a double edged out the front automatic from Cobratec knives just 10 miles away for his birthday. He still thinks it is a fun knife. So far, there has not been an increase in stabbings or cuttings as was predicted by the chicken little wanna-be doom and gloom predictors.

I fortunately live in a state with essentially no restrictions on knives. I carry one (or more) at all times.

just as there is always a necessity of fruit and veggie harvesters from mexico and central america, perhaps mister trump will become aware of the general decline in the popularity of small game hunting and create a special visa to import englishers specifically for the purpose of slaying squirrels….we're overrun with greys in my neck of the woods and they just laugh at me, showing no fear whatsoever….one of these days you confounded bushytails,,,,

when your visa expires you can just stay here and hide in plain sight….la migra will think you are a just another illegal canadian…eh ? :)

Well before my son went to NZ he was a professional Grey Squirrel trapper so I guess we could serve some useful purpose when it comes to pursuing bushy tails

I need to get my air gun out and practice with it. It is a .22 cal. springer which is supposed to get 850 fps with lead pellets. We have some squirrels in the neighborhood in need of eradication.
