Not sure I can support 'background check fix'...

#1 Post by AJMD429 » Thu Nov 16, 2017 11:34 pm

http://freebeacon.com/issues/bipartisan ... ed-senate/

It avoids admitting that:

a) 'background checks' don't work, even when done right, because they don't eliminate the bkack-market that 'prohibited persons' will simply access, and

b) the REAL goal is to create a registry of guns and gun owners; every time a simple and effective system is proposed which only does a background check, the Democraps and Rinopublicans won't support it.

It doesn't matter whether you support the legislation or not.

I t doesn't matter whether you support any legislation.

Your government doesn't care what you think, and will inflict whatever curse upon you they deem fit.

They rule. We pay.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

the worst part is all the Pro Gun groups jumping on board. Hell the WV Citizens Defense League will immediately ban you on facebook if you question this bill

We forget too often that this is what fattens their scorecard to point to for the next election!!

Solution: Limits for tenure in ANY State or Federal elected office. Two terms works for me.

Just check for yourself how our last President waited and then took so many unpopular one-sided actions in his second (therefore last) term.
