Florida, on the other hand, waived the requirements for a CCW during an evacuation. Basically, any law-abiding citizen can carry a weapon, concealed, during those kinds of emergencies. In other words, the right thing to do (of course, needing a permit of any kind is a gross violation of the Constitution, but we will save that argument for another day).

Yes. US territories are part of the US. The residents have all the rights as any citizens.

But they don't have the protections afforded by state constitutions

Mayhem in the Caribbean.

Looting. Food shortage. Infrastructure devastated. Deficit of law-enforcement.

At least the honest citizens are disarmed, or they could have real problems.
