Aim Point Brand, Red Dot, in Arkansas

#1 Post by Lastmohecken » Mon Feb 03, 2020 12:40 am

I have a Aim Point H1 Red Dot sight, pretty much like new, and I have the original box, papers, etc. I haven't checked lately, but this sight sells new, for around $600 or so.
I bought it in like new condition, from my cousin, and mounted it on a Marlin 45/70. It's a fine sight and held zero perfectly. I took it on a couple of hog hunts and killed several hogs with it, but it really doesn't work that well for me, because just like a scout scope, they need to be shot with both eyes open and my master eye is on the wrong side. I can do it in practice, but when hunting under pressure, I sometimes, tend to revert back to closing one eye. And my 62 year old eyes just benefit from a little magnification.

So, I think I will probably go to a low power scope on this gun. I would sell it for $440 shipped to the lower 48.

I'm in the UK and I'd bite your hand off for this.

Is this something you're interested in buying? I don't know much about the UK on what is allowed to be shipped or anything. Is this legal for you to own in the UK?

It's fine for me to own, you have issues exporting it though due to ITAR
