WTB, firing pin for 1889 Marlin
Hello all, I am in need of a firing pin for my first year production Marlin 1889. I went to the range Sunday loaded her up with my reloads pulled the trigger and CLICK. Assessed and depressed. RATS RUMP! If anyone has one I sure would be interested. Thanks. Tom

I know several people that have turned to Wisners for help with hard to find parts and had great success. You might try them.

Great idea! But I already looked and they are out of stock. Great minds though.

You might find a 'parts gun' on gunbroker or gunsamerica.
When I was a kid, a neighbor guy made a front-half firing pin for the 1889 Marlin I inherited, and it worked will until a few years later Wisner's had one I could buy. I think he could have made the entire firing pin, given some time, just using a piece of scrap steel and a file.
