WTB: Steel receiver sight for Marlin 336

#1 Post by Bill in Oregon » Wed May 29, 2019 5:20 pm

Fellas, I am looking a Lyman, Redfield, Pacific, whatever that is in working condition and fits the factory screw holes on a 1951 "waffletop" Marlin 336 in .35 Remington. Just can't bring myself to mount a Lyman or Williams aluminum version.
If you have one in your parts box you are willing to part with, let me know. There need not be a speck of bluing left on it, as long as it not a hunk of rust. Extra points if mounting screws present.
Gracias.

PM sent on peep.
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage: The Original short action, compact, high velocity cartridge.
