SPF Remington Model 141, .35 Remington

#1 Post by Bill in Oregon » Mon Apr 29, 2019 4:45 pm

Guys, here is a shooter-grade Model 141 Remington pump, in the capable .35 Remington chambering. It's not collectible owing to spots of external pitting and the ventilated rib recoil pad, but the good news is that it runs fine and the bore is like new. Barrel is 23.5 inches near as I can tell. It is fitted with a Redfield steel aperture sight. The bad news is the aforementioned spotty pitting -- likely a result of poor storage. The photos depict most of it; I can't quite make out the barrel date code, so don't know what year it was produced. Not the pitting on the Redfield sight slide. If the way the gun performs is more important to you than how she looks, this might be your new baby sister. Have only test fired, and she went bang. Make a good cast bullet rifle with that nice bore.
Asking $275 plus $35 for priority insured shipping. Not looking for trades. Ask if questions. Can ship to a C&R license.

Good deal for a 'shooter' that is a CLASSIC gun....hope it gets adopted by an appreciative owner.
