FS in WY, Antique Hatchets/Cleaver

#1 Post by jkbrea » Tue Apr 02, 2019 3:44 pm

From what I understand...a hewing hatchet, roofing hatchet and Foster Bros. #6 cleaver.
The roofing hatchet has a homemade handle and I think it's mounted upside down. The hewing hatchet is in much better shape and usable. The cleaver is solid and has a great edge with no chips. I searched values and they go for about $30 to over $100 each. I'll sell them all together for $85 shipped. If I'm out of line, let me know.

Really nice tools. I have the hewing hatchet. They were used for splitting cedar and red oak shingles, I have used mine on cedar.

I am interested in the cleaver.

A day later and I am suddenly in need of a Yamaha water pump... :?

No cleaver for me :(
