VHS tapes

#1 Post by GunnyMack » Fri Jan 04, 2019 1:15 pm

Dad will be gone 2 yrs come February, he had quite a few VHS tapes, all sorts of stuff. I'm wondering if anyone is intrested in them for the cost of shipping?
Instead of making a list I took pics. Hope you can zoom to read. If anyone has interest or knows someone that is please PM me.

If there's a VA Hospital, or Old Soldier's Home close, I'll bet they'd appreciate them.

+ another. You'll be hard-pressed to even give those away, given how long-past VHS technology is. I must admit, I still have a few of my original collection, but only one remaining VHS player in the house. I haven't used it in years (I hope it still works). No real need, because I have either DVD's (themselves fast becoming old-technology) and/or digital copies of them all. I donated a bit over 500 VHS tapes to Amvets years ago.

I have a bunch, too, and no VHS player.

If you do decide to donate them, I'd do it now. I suspect most charities will stop accepting them, if they have not already. Just try donating an old tube TV. No place takes those!

I hope you have better luck with the VHS tapes than I had putting DVD's into circulation.
Maybe, it is after all a BIG internet.
