Marlin 1894p for sale

#1 Post by fordwannabe » Sun Sep 16, 2018 9:46 pm

Marlin 1894p 16 inch 44 mag with a ported barrel. Wood has a crack at the tang but it has been epoxied shouldn’t be an issue. Stock has a couple character marks, the metal is pretty good. I have pics on my phone and gonna ask a buddy if he would post some of them here.
$700.00 don’t mean to be a jerk but for much less than that..I’ll keep her. Any questions feel free to pm me. Thanks. Gonna take it to a gun show on Saturday if no interest. Thanks

.

That's a very decent price - I sold mine online almost 10 years ago for $850.

The best part about the 1894P is that they can be carried in the trigger hand (around the grip), hanging down at your side (w/o hitting the ground/etc), readily swung up for the shot.

I "scout-scoped" the one I had.

Don't know if the ports make a difference or not. I just like the 16" barrel and how smooth it is. I've had mine for a long time and it's always been a "Go To" rifle when something needs to be Whacked!

Always liked these little 16 1/2” rifles I had the 1894P , 1894CP and the stainless laminated version in 45 Colt . Wish I had all three back so I could liquidate them

It is gone. Got a stainless new model super Blackhawk 4.5 barrel round triggerguard that is magna ported, and a tidy amount of cash. I know the revolver.
