FS--PA....45th Lyman Reloading Manuals**ONE LEFT***

#1 Post by Sixgun » Mon Nov 13, 2017 10:40 pm

I have TWO of these manuals and both are like new and are complete with everything they came with...advertisements etc.
Copyright 1970

This is one of the most informative and hard to get manuals ever put out by Lyman. In fact, I learned reloading and bullet casting from this manual....mine is all beat up.

Contains info and loads on many of the obsolete cartridges such as the 32-40, 348, 25-20, 32-20, 22 Sav., 30 Rem, 38-55, 32 Rem.and others.

Pictures, mould numbers, and info on the old moulds they made back in the day.

Lots of info on the old powders.

Velocity and energy charts that I have never seen in other manuals.

Complete "how to" on reloading, bullet casting, accuracy loading, black powder "how to" and lots of other interesting info.

$45 each....shipped.----6

This is a super reloading manual if you don't have it. All the cool old cartridges and a lot of still manufactured powders. Plus, you get to talk to Six!

Sure have, found the wreckage of a B-18A bomber that crashed in 1942. Bombs went off during the crash so stuff was pretty messed up. Unfortunately somebody else grabbed the Browning machine guns! I'll send some pictures along when I get back to my external hard drive.

I'm about 99% sure that the first reloading manual I bought was a 45th edition Lyman. Somewhere in the past 45+ years, with four moves along the way, I no longer have it. However 2-3 years ago I found 21st & 44th editions for sale at a reasonable price. I think the seller is a member here, lives 15-20 miles from me. Had a great chat with him when I picked them up.

I also have a 1973 version of their Cast Bullet Handbook. Well worn and the front cover is unhooked from the plastic strip binding, but still legible and my go-to book for data for bullets that are long obsolete.
