Something’s waiting on my approval !

Post by 6pt-sika »

A Parker Grade G top lever hammer 16 gauge with 28” barrels on an 0 frame is waiting for my approval next week in South Carolina . Time will tell if this one comes home with me . Incidentally it was made in 1894 .

Wowzers! A restored gun or original? Nice wood, bright and clean( why I ask if it's restored) .

That's an outstanding piece of wood!

Thanks , but to be honest it’s been totally redone . I’m not big on reblue refinish etc but 16 gauge Parker hammer guns especially on 1 frames are not that easy to come by !

If the gun feels good when I throw it up to my shoulder etc it’ll come to Virginia . It’s kinda open atleast in the right barrel . Otherwise I’d shoot it on the five stand course to make my decision .

Actually I’d not have a problem with that if the powers that be in your country didn’t want to pressure test everything that comes into the country .
