Although pricey, I have used the Controlled Chaos and Controlled.Fracturing in 45-70, 223 and 300 BLK. All had spectacular results.

Just an example but thats the exit from a 300 grain controlled chaos from Winchester 1886. The deer went about 10 feet before collapsing. The heart and lungs were obliterated

They are interesting. I'm a traditional lead bullet guy, but I can appreciate the technology.

I have been loading some 200 grain hollow points in the 44-40 at (1750) + P velocity. last week We had a semi boneless half ham (9lb) in the freezer that was long out of date. Momma says there is No way I'm going to eat it!!!..... O.K. I says and let it set out a day to thaw. When the ham was struck by the hollow point at 25 yards not only was there a loud thuuuuummmmp ......but the ham elevated as it blew apart and turned into a ham salad shower. that for sure was a gimmicky bullet. I'm sure the local possums are very Happy.. .

With shipping .45 cents a piece...add primer and powder and your somewhere around .60 or $30 a box of 50. I can load the same round for what I have into the materials, or $1.00 for 50 rounds.
