Why didn't someone warn us when we were young ?
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

When you were young, would you have taken advice from someone who looked like that....???? :D

Who wants to go to the grave with an unused body that is in perfect shape? Life was meant to be lived. Long walks. Hunting. Fishing. Working. Raising kids.
All those things age you and give you character and experience.

Excellent!

Who wants to die looking good? All those "skid marks" and wrinkles and scars and stretch marks should be signs of having lived life to the full, enjoying the good parts, enduring the bad ones, and making do with what you are handed. Making mistakes and sometimes learning from them. What a sad thing it would be to die never having experienced life!

I and probably most have gone through some execrating painful and dangerous events that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Most I got myself into and the Lord got me out of. I wonder had I been able to avoid some what shape I would be in today. At the moment I am in a convulsant hospital for the past two weeks but get discharged Friday. It was hell when I came here two weeks ago.

True if one intends to die young. But if you do end up living for an extended period of time you will pay for all of the abuse you heaped onto your body. There is with all things a middle ground. I just haven't found it yet.

My experience has been that by the time I discovered the middle ground, I was a long ways past it!

Back when I was racing motorcycles it was called running out of talent before you ran out of speed. If it didn't happen to you then you weren't trying hard enough.

Reminds of the saying , burning a candle at both ends works great until, the flames meet in the middle!
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres
