Well, I am sure Talo will sell a few of them. I wouldn't buy one, because I already owned one in the past, with a fluted cylinder, similar to the new Talo, in 45 Long Colt. One thing I don't like about this new offering, is the unfluted cylinder, because it will be heavier. And the Birds Head grips are not all they are cracked up to be. I couldn't shoot mine worth a stuff, until I replaced the grips with a 300 dollar set of stags, then I could shoot it pretty good but even with a good holster, I found it hard to carry concealed, and found that I could carry some of my others with the standard Colt style plowhandle grip, easier and shoot them better. I think I remember that I also didn't like that particular hammer on that gun gun/grip combination. Just wasn't right for me.

I see this new offering has a nice set of adjustable sights, though. I think I like the sights.

So it went down the gun trade road. But that's just me. It's the one on the bottom. Actually, it wasn't that bad a gun after all, with those stag grips on it. Just not my favorite for carry. I think I still have a Mernickicle left hand holster for it if anyone is in the market for a left hand holster for a gun like this.

PillHer has a Bearkat with birdshead grips. OK in a .22lr. Seems to me that they would be uncomfortable with much power.

The original grips are a little too smooth, and the gun I had would just plain move too much in my hand, I just had a problem hanging onto it. The high dollar Stag Grips I added to mine, made all of the difference because the were just rough enough to get a good grip on the gun. But in the end I didn't like the balance all that much, and I do prefer the regular Blackhawk grip frame to this Birds Head grip. But that's just me, others may like it fine.

I came close to ordering a set of consecutively numbered Birds Head Blackhawks (I think that's what they were called) But, that was the Broke Old Days....
